Profile & History
Name : Tanjong Katong Secondary School
Year Founded : 1954
Tanjong Katong Secondary School (TK) was established as a pioneer Technical School in 1956. Many people then regarded it as a Trade School for boys who were considered less academically inclined for a proper secondary education. Intensive campaigning had to be carried out to convince the public that the school could offer educational standards equal to other secondary schools in Singapore.
